The Crown Percussion Rattle Box design is based on the original Quijada instrument which utilized the dried teeth from the lower jawbone from a horse or donkey to produce a rattle effect. Manufactured with a wooden ball and box painted black, and mounted on a metal rod that vibrates when struck.
